HP's long rumored tablet PC was confirmed awhile back, but now an official price of $799 has been released.The HP Slate 500 runs Windows 7, comes with two cameras, 1080p playback with HDMI out, and WACOM DIGITIZER. The entire package comes with a dock, and is aimed at business and enterprise users. The tablet is powered by a 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z540 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 64GB SSD.
The device beats Apple's iPad by a long shot: it has a full fledged operating system, HD playback, more RAM, a better processor, and two cameras.
